In the Art Room
In the Art Room your child is the artist and this means that they are going to have control over their ideas. As their teacher, my job is to show them ways to safely use tools and materials so their ideas can be expressed in their creations. Through play and discovery your child will be able to make thoughtful choices about what they want to create, what they will use to create their art and know when their art is complete. This process is what demonstrates their understanding, not their completed artwork.
The Art Room is divided into several different Studios. Studios are where students can refine their skills and experiment with different materials.
